Parents, families and friends affected by autism are busy enough with the efforts it takes to raise, care and help their children. The goal is between all of our families that we can work to affect change for not only our individual families but everyone affected by autism.
Here are some suggestions for helping create autism awareness, helping families, and supporting research and other others relating to autism.
| 1. | Support the Autism Organization by donating whatever you can afford, time or donations in kind. List of national and California organizations.

| 2. | Take time to educate people you know about Autism. Let them know about this website and how they can help. Let them know you love someone with Autism. Some other ways to educate the people around you about autism:

| 3. | Start Your Own Support Group Start with affiliating with an existing autism organization or just start your own! The most important thing is to GET INVOLVED! Want to start a TACA group? Contact Jen Lundy, Chapter Manager. For a list of National support groups: www.talkautism.org |
| 4. | Watch important state and federal legislation! If you are affected by autism it is IMPORTANT to let people know that make laws to help you!! They wi ll only know if they hear about your needs and your family.
