| February 11, 2012 | Nutrition for ASD Kids |
| Speaker: Kimberly Mathai, MS, RD | |
| Children on the autism spectrum are often picky eaters; it can be challenging to provide them with nutritious food. In addition, they may suffer from gastrointestinal issues. Are you pursuing biomedical treatments for your child? You may need help starting a special diet, or getting your child to take nutritional supplements. | |
| Kimberly Mathai, a registered dietitian, will provide practical ideas for addressing these issues. She has expertise in nutrition therapies for autism spectrum disorder, and has been published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association on treating autistic children. Following Kimberly’s talk, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. |
