TACA holds monthly meetings in many locations throughout the United States that feature educational speakers on important topics and allow family members to connect with one another and stay on top of the latest information in the autism world. Each TACA group maintains a resource library of the latest autism books and tapes that can be checked out by members at no charge.

Ms. Whitcher holds multiple special education teaching certificates, has been featured on AutismOne radio show and is published in The Autism Perspective for her knowledge and insight into Special Education. Proud sister of a successful man with Down Syndrome, Catherine's dynamic teaching within the classroom led her to her life-long passion of bringing education teams together for student achievement.
