What is the Family & Friends Campaign?
TACA’s Family & Friends Campaign was created 6 years ago to build awareness and support for families affected by autism. This year’s campaign allows you to Share Your Autism Story because each family’s story is exceptional.
Over the past 6 years, the Family & Friends Campaign has helped TACA raise over $350,000 to support families on their autism journey.
Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 that’s less than $10 per family and if each family could help us raise $45 TACA could raise over $1,000,000 in this effort!
Autism today affects 1 in 91 children and 1 in 58 boys! That is why this year our Campaign is even more important. We are currently serving over 20,000 families across the U.S.
TACA holds meetings & coffee talks in 28 locations across the U.S., and our parent mentor program now offers support in 7 languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, and Vietnamese. And, as always, 95% of the programs TACA provides are at no cost to families.
Why Family & Friends?
TACA’s Family & Friends Campaign was started in response to the outpouring of families and relatives who asked, “How can I help?”
In 2010, TACA raised approximately $90,000 through the Family & Friends Campaign. Over the past 6 years, TACA’s Family & Friends Campaign has brought in over $350,000 to help families on their autism journey.
